Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc. and many Fortune 500 companies. **Job Summary/Responsibilities** The Structural Engineer II is responsible for assisting more experienced staff with the design of major building projects across the United States (projects to have construction costs of up to $750M). Potential projects come from a wide variety of industry sectors including entertainment, commercial, industrial, parking structures, government, and detention. This engineer will work collaboratively with more experienced engineers on large projects and will be given the responsibility to lead/work independently on smaller structural design projects and tasks. **Daily work includes:** * Perform structural analysis and design * Coordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documents * Construction administration * Author structural reports, assessments, and studies * Develop project management experience such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, etc. **Minimum Requirements** * Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering plus two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education * EIT Certificate * Valid Driver’s License **Preferred Qualifications** * Minimum 4 years of experience * Master of Science (with structural engineering concentration) * Demonstrated experience applying all major structural design codes. * Demonstrated experience using 3-D structural analysis software (ie ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, and SAFE) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, * Demonstrated experience in use of REVIT/AutoCAD to provide production support as a portion of team support and development **Additional Information** * Relocation is not available for this position * Sponsorship is not available for this position **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
