## Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor''s degree in civil engineering with emphasis in structural design or structural engineering
* CA licensed structural engineer
* Minimum five years of experience in design of concrete, steel, masonry and wood construction
* Experience with seismic retrofit design of structures of all types
* Knowledgeable of SAP & ETABS software and dynamic analysis of structures
* Ability to make field visits and prepare of field reports
* Knowledge of construction phase support services including response to RFI''s and review of shop drawings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
* This position requires successful completion of the URS Project Management Certification program within 6 months of date of hire. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the URS Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee.
